Captain Christine Moretz was ordained and commissioned as a Salvation Army officer in June 2013 with an associate's degree in applied science. Her first appointment brought her to Youngstown. She is now blessed to be appointed as the Corps Commanding Officer of the Mount Vernon Corps. Moretz holds a master of arts in leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary. She will be speaking in our Sunday evening service at First Baptist Church, 303 S. Edgewood Drive, Mount Vernon, at 6 p.m.
