Several years ago, the foundation developed an initiative called the KCH Care Fund. It’s designed to help struggling staff get through a rough patch.
Emergencies, by nature, are unexpected and can cause a tremendous financial burden. And when one person struggles, it impacts those around them – patients, fellow employees and the hospital in general. Morale and performance can suffer too. When employees are free to focus on their work, they render quality service with helpful enthusiasm.
