Knox Public Health and Knox Community Hospital reactivate COVID hotline

Health & Wellness

Knox Public Health is reactivating a COVID-19 hotline it operated with Knox Community Hospital last year during the pandemic.

"Knox Public Health is partnering with Knox Community Hospital to help answer our community member's questions as quickly as possible," according to a press release. "To do this, we have reactivated the call line that was utilized last year. The phone number to call is 740-399-8014."

Here are some of the common questions that can be answered by the call line:

  • What to do if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19

  • General COVID-19 questions and information
  • COVID-19 vaccine information (locations and third-dose specifics)
  • Antibody testing
  • What to do next after testing positive for COVID-19
  • COVID-19 test result information
  • Where to get rapid at-home COVID-19 test kits
  • Locations and hours of local testing locations (for either symptomatic or asymptomatic testing)
If there is a question that is more specific or needs to be directed to either KPH or KCH, the call line will do so to ensure the caller has their question answered.
