Hot Yoga Escape recently celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Knox County Chamber of Commerce to mark the one-year anniversary of new ownership.

Terri Lewis took over the studio last September. Hot Yoga Escape was established in 2016 and is the only yoga studio in Mount Vernon.

Lewis expanded the studio into a next-door space to open the Wellness Center. The Wellness Center boasts a second studio and offers massage therapy.

Soon a new retail space called the Cosmic Cupboard will be opening. The Cosmic Cupboard is a fun filled gift  shop that will offer natural, holistic and metaphysical merchandise. Specializing in healing crystals, soaps, incense, oils, jewelry and much  more to help bring happiness to the mind, body and soul.

Hot Yoga Escape offers classes daily including hot, warm and unheated classes. Lewis says, “We have something for everyone.”

Try out the studio with their Intro Special: Just $30 for 30 days or come back to the studio for just $49 your first month back with autopay. Ten-class packages are available too.

A free community class will be held Oct. 9 at 11 a.m. For more information, check out their website at hotyogaescape.com.
