WWTP SLUDGE REMOVAL

LEGAL NOTICE - INVITATION TO BID
The Knox County Commissioners will receive Sealed Bids at their office located at 117 E High Street, Suite #161, Mt Vernon, OH 43050 for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete a project known as WWTP Sludge Removal, until 11:00 AM local time on August 31, 2021, and at said time and place, publicly opened and read aloud.
Bid Documents including bid sheets, plans, specifications, and addenda can be obtained from IBI Group via email at steve.moore@ibigroup.com.
Each Bidder is required to furnish with its submission of the fully completed Bid Documents, a Bid Security in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, must be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Those Bidders that elect to submit bid guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit shall be pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code and in accordance with Section 153.54 (C) of the Ohio Revised Code. Any such letter of credit shall be revocable only at the option of the Knox County Commissioners. The amount of the certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit shall be equal to ten (10) percent of the Bid and the Successful Bidder will be required to submit a bond in the form provided in 153.57 of the Ohio Revised Code in conjunction with the execution of the Contract.
Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age.
Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Knox County as determined by the State of Ohio.
The Knox County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informalities or irregularities and the right to reject any or all bids or to increase, decrease or omit any item and award the bid to the lowest and best bidder.
