MOUNT VERNON – On May 17, 2021, in recognition of EMS week, Air Evac Lifeteam flew into the station and presented the Mount Vernon Fire Department with an EMS award.
The award was for providing emergency medical services in a highly commendable manner and making the call for critical care air transport for a patient in need of advanced trauma care.
