GAMBIER – The City of Gambier will hold its Fourth of July Parade beginning at 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 4, a press release from the City said.
Viewers can join the parade or watch from Kenyon College’s Middle Path. Parade participants will gather at Campus Auto at 11:45 a.m. The ceremony will begin at noon in front of the bookstore, with the parade immediately following.
In addition to the Citizen of the Year contest, judges will announce winners for most creative bike/vehicle, dog costume, mask and overall entry in the parade.
Judging will take place between 11:45 a.m. and noon, with winners announced during the ceremony. Every parade participant will receive a ribbon.
If there is a rain out, the parade will be held the same time on Monday, July 5.
