Holmes Tire scored one run in the top of the first inning to take an early lead, but Jeld Wen responded with six in the bottom half to take control and roll to a 14-4 win in MVGSL 8U play on Wednesday, May 12, at Memorial Park.
Elizabeth Holler, Jaylyn Riley, Evie McCann and Jordan Plumly each had three hits to lead Jeld Wen. Hollar and McCann both hit doubles.
Khloe Sapp had three hits for Holmes Tire.
