A recent email from the Knox County Chamber of Commerce updated the following vaccine locations:
Conway's Pharmacy
Details for both locations are as follows:
Vaccines available on an open appointment basis.
The scheduling app is on the pharmacy's website. Pick the date and time to receive a J&J vaccine. Appointments are preferred over walk-ins to keep waste at a minimum and organization at the highest.
Businesses are also invited to schedule dedicated times or days for their employees to get vaccines. Both J&J and Moderna vaccines are offered. With Moderna, those vaccine clinics are more scheduled as it is a two-dose vaccination process rather than the one-dose J&J.
Contact Denise Conway, RPh/owner, at 740-501-3831 if you have questions.
Foster's Pharmacy
Foster's is offering the J&J vaccine at this moment. Patients should know that the J&J vaccine has five vaccinations in one vial. Once the vial is opened, there is a set amount of time to use the five vaccinations available.
They are accepting walk-ins, but it may help to call first in order to eliminate waste. That being said, Foster's is offering patients call-in/walk-in vaccine service from 1–4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Patients can also follow the scheduling link on fostersrx.com to schedule an appointment.
Knox Community Hospital
Call 740-399-3840 to schedule a vaccine appointment with Knox Community Hospital.
