In the final match of the abbreviated 2021 season, the Lords battled tough against host Carnegie Mellon on Sunday, May 2, but ended up on the wrong side of a 5-3 final score.

When singles play commenced, however, Carnegie Mellon took over. The Tartans got a win in No. 3 to even the overall team score at 2-2. Kenyon again countered, but it wasn’t enough. The Lords’ answer came from Luis Andres Platas, who rallied to win the No. 1 singles match 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 against Jonathan Nottingham.
