FREDERICKTOWN – There will be an info meeting for the new Fredericktown Schools community garden at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 26.

The Fredericktown School Garden, where the meeting will take place, is behind the elementary building near the playground. In case of rain, the meeting will be moved to Thursday, April 29.

The meeting is open to anyone, especially those who always wanted to have their own garden but have not yet tried it on their own, or anyone who would like to help provide fresh, healthy food for others. Representatives from OSU Extension will also be on hand to provide gardening tips.

Community garden plots will be available there from May through October.
