Engle Sales in Martinsburg specializes in accessories for trucks, and the list of accessories is long.
"Our motto is 'Engle Sales has you covered,'" co-owner Doug Heagren told the Mount Vernon News. "Anything to cover the bed of your truck. We're a big dealer in WeatherTech products."
There are grill guards for trucks. There are mud flaps, floor mats, trailer hitches and "cargo slides" the allow you to pull cargo out of the truck without having to climb into the bed to reach it.
The accessories can help preserve the resale value of the truck, Heagren said.
"Especially with this crazy Ohio weather, with all the mud and snow we have," he said. "If you have a good set of WeatherTechs on the floor, it can help the resale value when that flooring still looks good. It's the same with a bed liner. It can help prevent it from getting scratched up."
Engle sells heavy-duty trailer hitches strong enough for all your towing needs. Add trailer wiring, brake controllers and running boards to the product list as well.
There are truck accessories and shields that help keep your windshield bug free.
Engle also customizes commercial trucks with toolboxes, bed caps, ladder racks, back-up cameras, rear doors, roof racks and vapor barrier insulation.
They can match the paint color of your truck's bed cap with the truck manufacturer's paint code.
Heagren and his wife, Vickie, have owned Engle Sales since 2002. He was previously a print pressman for 18 before buying the business.
"Engle has been family-owned and in the same location since 1977," he said.
The store sells Yakima racks for bicycles and other cargo.
Installation is available, but customers who want to install their own products can purchase them at the store and have them shipped to their location in just a few days.
