MOUNT VERNON – Mary Lou Grennell, 77, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home. She was born on March 30, 1944, in Mount Vernon to the late Oliver Elliotte and Alice (Shanabrook) Dillon.
Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Mike) Grubaugh; her sons, George (Leona) Grennell and Todd (Martha) Grennell; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Patricia Monk, Sharon Miller and Shirley Farley.
In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, James Grennell.
Friends may call from 4–7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, with Mr. Roger Marra officiating.
