Trump Shot
MOUNT VERNON – I got my “Trump Shot” at Knox Community Hospital this week. It was my second one and I was thrilled to finally know I have some protection from dying of COVID-19 should I pick the virus up in my travels around town. I call it the Trump Shot because Trump fostered its development here in the USA and three of our corporations produced a version. I was given the Moderna and had no reaction to either shot. I am proud to carry my laminated card that says I have been vaccinated. Now I can begin to gather with other friends and neighbors who have gotten their Trump Shot, and I hope it will be easier for me to attend events in the future, like our town softball games, the county fair, and even go to a movie or a play.
