A series of virtual town halls will address common concerns and questions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, providing input from medical experts, community leaders and public health professionals.
The town halls are organized by the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging Inc. in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, according to a press release. Ohio wants to ensure that communities have the information they need to make informed decisions about COVID-19 vaccines.
Certain groups of Ohioans with limited access to healthcare may be more hesitant to get COVID-19 vaccines, wanting to “wait and see” how it goes for others receiving vaccines.
