MOUNT VERNON – James “Jim” Bigler, 69, of Mount Vernon, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021. He was born on June 2, 1951, in Columbus, and was the son of the late Lee and Norma (McGrath) Bigler.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Betsy (Everett) Bigler; two sons, Jeremy (Angela) Bigler of Utica and Joshua Bigler of Millersport; three grandchildren, Andrew, Ryan and Maea; along with his brother, Dan (Mary) Bigler of Oklahoma.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Lasater Funeral Home, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon, where funeral services will follow at noon. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
