MOUNT VERNON – The Christian Life Shop, located at 117 S. Main St. in Mount Vernon, announces the opening of its Life Ministry Room.
The owners have turned their Christmas room into a gathering place for small groups to learn about Christian topics and the Bible.
The first event will be a special PowerPoint presentation by Steve Feazel on "One Nation under God." Feazel is co-author of the bestselling book, "The Three Cs that Made America Great: Christianity, Capitalism and the Constitution."
The presentation will focus on the Christian foundation of America including the words of the Founding Fathers, Colony Charters and history of the nation's first colleges. It will also reveal what is being done to undermine Christian influence in America and what can be done about this. The session will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 29.
