MOUNT VERNON – Karen Y. Sellers, 73, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Jan. 16, 2021, at Country Club Retirement Campus. She was born on May 25, 1947, in Wooster, to the late Meryl and Dorothy (Banbury) Sellers.
Karen was a graduate of Mount Vernon High School and the Columbus Business School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon.
Karen is survived by several cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Johnson and brother-in-law, James Johnson.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Jan. 22, beginning at 11 a.m. in Wesley Chapel Cemetery near Danville. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Karen Y. Sellers.
Memorial contributions in Karen’s name may be made to the First Baptist Church, 303 S. Edgewood Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
