GAMBIER – Marilyn E. Howard, 79, of Gambier, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021, at her residence. She was born on March 9, 1941, in Honaker, Virginia, to the late Homer and Mary (Honaker) Howard.
After Marilyn graduated from high school, she went on to earn a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. She worked as an executive assistant in the Math Department at The Ohio State University.
Marilyn enjoyed golfing, gardening and sewing. Her greatest joy was being around her loving family.
She is survived by her sister, Brenda Howard; and two nieces, Emily Wise and Annie (Jason) Steel.
A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
