MOUNT VERNON – We are writing to commend the extraordinary efforts of the volunteers that care for the Kokosing Gap Trail. The attention to detail concerning mowing, dead tree removal and general maintenance of the Trail is to be praised. The new wood in the deck of the first overhead bridge (coming from the Mount Vernon end) did not go unnoticed. The continued upkeep of the Trail makes it enjoyable and preserves an asset of the community. We urge everyone of all ages to get outside and avail themseves of this valuable resource and to support it with your contributions. We are truly blessed.

MOUNT VERNON – I recently saw a Biden-Harris flag calling for “Unity over Division.” What hypocritical propaganda! “Unity” from the party who labels all Trump supporters as racist, sexist, xenophobes and whose elected officials are currently compiling enemy lists? This slogan of “Unity over Division” is being pushed so that anyone disagreeing with them can yet again be labeled — this time — as “against unity.” Well, you will find no “unity” from me in your quest to defund the police or when your supporters chant “Death to America.” We WILL be divided if you attack my Second Amendment rights or support the rampant censorship of free speech by Big Tech and legacy media. I want unity, but I’ll fight for the American Constitution and individuals’ rights before I’ll give one inch to the regime where Biden will be nothing more than a puppet dictator.
