MOUNT VERNON – Emerson (Joe) Sager, who was born in Columbus, died on Dec. 30, 2020, at Country Club Nursing Home in Mount Vernon.
He is survived by his children, Joe Sager (Shana) of Centerburg, Harold Sager (Marilyn) of New Holland, Mary Ellen Oliver and Jerry Sager; his sister, Patty; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Rachel Scott Sager.
A private funeral service will be held at a later date at the Green Hill Cemetery in Johnstown.
