Hypocrisy
GAMBIER – If you know anything about the ideology of the Republican Party, you probably know that it is in favor of local control and against big government.
In Saturday's Mount Vernon News, it was reported that the Republican-controlled House of Representatives passed a law (House Bill 242) banning any local government body from taxing or charging a fee on plastic single-use bags or containers. So please add to your list of Republican principles: (1) Greed is good; (2) Hypocrisy is even better!
