KCH's new daVinci Xi Surgical System will allow patients to benefit from minimally invasive surgeries. | Knox Community Hospital/Facebook

From canceled events to postponed surgeries, every aspect of Knox Community Hospital‘s business has been challenged this year. The great thing is, our hospital continues to provide quality healthcare for our community:

  • We’ve launched The Wright Family Medical Pavilion, making quality care easily accessible for all.
  • We’ve delivered hundreds of Knox County babies in the new Ann Schnormeier Center for Birthing Care.
  • We’ve implemented new technologies — like the da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system which allows for minimally invasive surgery, and that means smaller incisions leading to reduced blood loss, less scarring and lower risk of infection.
  • We’re transforming the Center for Cancer Care to add more exam- and procedure rooms, providing more space to accommodate those who need treatments.
  • We’ve earned awards and quality certifications that highlight our top-notch care.
And we’ve done all this while battling the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, KCH is more prepared than ever to handle future emergencies. Yet this significant and sustained effort has come at a high cost.

That’s why your support is so important. As a team, we can provide excellent service to tens of thousands of local residents. It’s a vital part of our future success. Would you consider supporting KCH’s healing legacy with a year-end gift right here and right now? Gifts are tax deductible and donors who give more than $2000 will also have their names added to our brand new donor appreciation wall in The Wright Family Medical Pavilion.

On behalf of those who benefit from your generosity, thank you in advance for investing in the people and programs at KCH.
