Letters to Santa
Santa and Mrs. Claus will not be able to attend the Downtown Rock Around this year due to the pandemic. However, kids can drop off their letters for them at Almost Famous Sweets and Sodas or PakMail. You can also mail letters to PakMail; 812 Coshocton Ave.; Mount Vernon, OH 43050; but it has to be addressed to Santa Claus and include your name and address.

WHEN: Please get them in soon so Santa and Mrs. Clause can write back before Christmas!

A snowman-decorating contest will be hosted by the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County. Call 740-392-2665, Ext. 248, to join.

Messiah
To help the community keep the Christmas season's traditional start, MVNU is making their 2019 performance of Handel’s "Messiah" available on demand for the whole month of December, with a special message from Choral Union Director Dr. Robert Tocheff and Vice President for University Relations the Rev. James Smith. The 2020 production has been postponed due to COVID-19 regulations.
