WeRunMV will be hosting its 10th annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk. Each of the three races will gather 5 minutes prior to start. Participants are requested to wear masks and social distance before and after the race and registration will be contact-less. The event is free; cash and food donations will be collected for the local Food for the Hungry Drive and donated to the Salvation Army and Interchurch Social Services.

To help the community keep the Christmas season's traditional start, MVNU is making their 2019 performance of Handel’s "Messiah" available on demand for the whole month of December, with a special message from Professor of Music and Choral Union Director Dr. Robert Tocheff and Vice President for University Relations the Rev. James Smith. The 2020 production has been postponed due to COVID-19 regulations.

Experience the beauty of the season with a stroll through more than 600 luminaries and listen or sing along with small caroling groups during Candles & Carols. Social distancing measures will be in place. Masks are required when you cannot maintain a distance of six feet or greater. This event is in memory of Dick Murray and is sponsored by Murray, Rauzi, Kidwell and Cunningham.

Monroe Township Fire Association's second annual Toy Drive will be a drive-through service. Bring a new unopened toy, drive up and one of the members will take the toy and put it in the box. All the toys will benefit the local Salvation Army and will stay here in Knox County.
