Ohio Department of Public Safety accident reports Oct. 23-25

The following accidents were reported by the Department of Public Safety.

Oct. 23

Vehicle on losing end of collision with deer 

• Accident report - 2:24 p.m. - Coshocton Ave.

Lee Burd, of 21581 Clayton Road in Howard, was driving on Coshocton Ave. when he reportedly hit a deer causing damage to the front of his vehicle.

Car t-boned at intersection

• Accident report - 5:51 p.m. - Mechanic St. and Vine St. in Mount Vernon

Harry Richard, of 207 Walnut St. in Mount Vernon, was reportedly driving a 2003 GMC Trailblazer on West Vine Street when he did not yield at an intersection, striking Stephanie Rhodebeck, of 5462 Sycamore Road in Centerburg, who was driving a 2017 Acura.

Oct. 24

Intersection related accident

• Accident report - 1:08 p.m. - Columbus Road in Clinton

Deputies report that a car driven by Robert Tiell, of 1275 New Gambier Road in Mount Vernon, was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Michael Barber of 2466 Rich Hill Road in Centerburg.

Oct. 25

Car rear-ended on West High St.

• Accident report - 10:34 a.m. - High St. and North West St. in Mount Vernon

Michele Parrish, of 603 Ridgewood Ave. in Mount Vernon, allegedly drover her 2007 Kia Optima into the rear of a 2020 Chevrolet driven by Ashley Vance, of 12460 Upper Gilchrist Road inn Mount Vernon. Vance’s sons were reportedly in the car with her at the time of the incident.
