The Conscious Discipline for Parent is a six-week interactive education series hosted by the Parent Support Initiative to help teach important parenting skills of assertiveness, encouragement, empathy, choices, positive intent and consequences. Ariel-Foundation Park's Halloween Hootenanny will have local musicians, storytellers, photo opportunities and a scavenger hunt for guests to enjoy. The park is encouraging guests to stagger their arrival times in order to limit crowd size. Donors are asked to bring a box of Milk-Bone Dog Treats or Pedigree Dentastix as a donation to the Dogs of Knox and their partnership with the Knox County Animal Shelter.
