AMVETS Post 95-Mount Vernon will be having its AMVETS Breakfast on Sunday, Oct. 11.

This will be held at its Post Home Canteen at 311 S. Mechanic St.; Mount Vernon, OH 43050.

The event will commence at 8:30 a.m. and is expected to finish at 11:30 a.m.

Members are encouraged to attend the gathering and members’ guests are also welcome.

Post 95-Mt. Vernon is part of the AMVETS Department of Ohio, with several sub-organizations focusing on various advocacies.

Some of its sub-organizations are AMVETS Service Foundation (the fund-raising arm), AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary (comprised of female veterans or AMVETS relatives working with several community and non-profit organizations), SONS of AMVETS (they help promote AMVETS’ legislative agenda, provide services to hospitalized veterans and support different charitable efforts) and Junior AMVETS (AMVETS members’ children under the age of 18).
