Community Garage Sale
Fredericktown "Fall Clean-Up Week" begins Saturday with the "Fall Community Garage Sale" and ends on October 10 with "Dumpster Days," which will be held at the Police Department Parking lot on South Main Street. Dumpsters are available for use by Fredericktown residents only.

Electronic Recycling
With the support of Knox County Litter Prevention and Recycling and the Delaware, Knox, Marion and Morrow Joint Solid Waste District, Kenyon College hosts regular electronic recycling days at the Gambier Community Center. The program diverts electronic waste from regional landfills and ensures recyclable aspects of electronic devices get a second chance at service. The program is open to the public.

Lions Club Birthday
To celebrate the Lions Club International's 100th Birthday, all Ohio Lions Clubs will be participating in service projects the first full week of October. The Mount Vernon Lions Club will be having a food drive to support the Salvation Army. Please drop off nonperishable food items.
