Theater of War Productions, a social impact company, will begin its yearlong virtual residency at Kenyon College with the lecture, "Tragedies for the Pandemic." Artistic Director Bryan Doerries '98 will describe how he and his company have used ancient tragedies to empower thousands of people all over the world to engage in vital, democratic, pluralistic discussions about some of the most challenging issues of our time, including racialized violence, healthcare inequality and the moral suffering of frontline medical providers. Registration required.

Saturday, Sept. 26

Come help clean up Knox Lake. This is foot only, no boats. Lake levels have been dropped for dam repair and local officials noticed many tires have been thrown in the lake and need to be removed. Gloves and trash bags will be provided.

Knox Public Health will be holding flu shots for adults only at the Knox County Fairgrounds. Cost is $30, which can be paid in cash or by check. Medicare, Medicaid and most forms of insurance can also be accepted as payment. ID and medical/insurance card must be presented. For adults and children 6 months and above, appointments can be made by calling 740-399-8008.
