Mount Vernon Dental 13, Alan’s Auto Repair 12 (5)
Mount Vernon Dental scored twice in the bottom of the fourth inning, and that ended up being the difference. Alan’s Auto Repair scored four runs in the fourth and five in the fifth, but fell just short in a 13-12 loss in five innings in 8U play on Sept. 17 at Memorial Park.
Kennedy Edmonson homered twice and drove in two runs, and Evlee Rine had three hits and two RBIs to lead MV Dental.
Addison Schilinger had three hits, including a pair of doubles, and drove in two runs for Alan’s.
Wigal 11, Lady Amvets 4 (3)
Anna Daubert tallied seven strikeouts in the circle to lead Wigal to an 11-4 win over Lady Amvets in three innings in 12U play on Sept. 17 at Memorial Park.
Madelyn Tocheff hit a home run and had two hits along with Anna Doubert to lead Wigal.
Kaylynn Ott had two hits to lead Lady Amvets.
Park National Bank 4, Straight A Signs 2 (5)
Park National Bank struck for three runs in the fourth inning to knock off Straight A Signs 4-2 in five innings in 10U play on Sept. 17 at Memorial Park.
Kenzie Staats had seven strikeouts and Zoey Neitzelt smashed a triple for Park National.
Aubri Cottrell struck out 11 batters for Straight A Signs in the pitching duel.
Real Living 13, Dumbaugh 2 (3)
Real Living’s Halie Mull struck out four batters and held Dumbaugh to one hit in a 13-2 victory in three innings in 10U play on Sept. 16 at Memorial Park.
Kiersten Mills doubled to lead Real Living. Morgan Statter struck out four batters for Dumbaugh.
Absolute Love 14, Danville Feed & Supply 5 (5)
Absolute Love struck for six runs in the first inning and rolled to a 14-5 win over Danville Feed & Supply in five innings in 8U play on Sept. 16 at Memorial Park.
Mylee Fairall homered, Kaylyn Peck tripled and Paislee Fairell doubled twice to lead Absolute Love. All three had three hits each.
Presley Smith had three hits, including a double, to lead Danville Feed & Supply.
Wigal 17, Seavolt’s Studio 1 (5)
Tiona Over struck out six batters and held Seavolt’s Studio to just one hit in leading Wigal to a 17-1 victory in five innings in 12U play on Sept. 15 at Memorial Park.
Over also had four hits, including a homer; and Madelyn Tocheff hit two home runs and had four hits to lead Wigal.
Kat Joslin had Seavolt’s lone hit.
Absolute Love 12, JB Painting 5 (5)
JB Painting opened the game with three runs. But Absolute Love struck for five in the bottom of the first and added five more in the second.
Absolute Love rolled from there to a 12-5 win in five innings in 8U play on Sept. 15 at Memorial Park.
Four players had three hits each to lead Absolute Love, led by Paislee Fairell and Kamille Clinedinst, who each hit a pair of doubles.
Madi Rambo and Ellie Howard had three hits apiece for JB Painting.
Elevated Hearing 21, Jon’s Plumbing 12 (5)
In a game where the teams combined for 47 hits, Elevated Hearing emerged with a 21-12 win in five innings over Jon’s Plumbing in 8U play on Sept. 14 at Memorial Park.
Scarlett Graham and Baily Styndal had four hits apiece for Elevated Hearing. Graham belted out three triples and Styndal doubled and singled three times.
Jordyn Murphy had four hits, including a double, to lead Jon’s Plumbing.
Ariel 14, Team Sports 0 (3)
Kendall Melton and Irelynne Moffat each struck out two batters in a combined no-hitter for Ariel, which won 14-0 in three innings over Team Sports in 10U play on Sept. 14 at Memorial Park.
Kinley Baker had three hits, including a home run and a double, to lead Ariel.
Jeannae Dial struck out two batters for Team Sports.
