Knox Public Health will be holding flu shots for adults only at the Knox County Fairgrounds. Cost is $30, which can be paid in cash or by check. Medicare, Medicaid and most forms of insurance can also be accepted as payment. ID and medical/insurance card must be presented. For adults and children 6 months and above, appointments can be made by calling 740-399-8008.

The YMCA in Mount Vernon is offering a Fall Pool Party for kids and families. This event is open to all community members. If you are a member this is FREE, while non-members will pay a $5 guest pass or $20 family facility pass. There will be pumpkins, music, prizes and all the fall festivities!
