MOUNT VERNON — The Dogs of Knox Fund and the Knox County Animal Shelter volunteers invite families to have photos of their pets (and children) taken with Santa at Rural King Supply, 1500 Coshocton Road, Mount Vernon on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon, or Sunday, Nov. 3, from 1-4 p.m. In addition, owners can have their pets nails trimmed on both days. No appointment is necessary.
For a donation, participants will receive two photos. Nail trimming is an additional fee per pet. Pets should be brought on a leash or in a carrier.
Pet Christmas stockings, raffle baskets, and more will be available for donations! Cash, checks, and charge are accepted. All proceeds benefit the Dogs of Knox Fund, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit which helps with medical expenses for the dogs at the Knox County Animal Shelter.
