DANVILLE — Ora Jane (Reynolds) Baer, 90, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.
She was born April 14, 1928, in Columbus to the late Ola and Jennie (Sampson) Reynolds. In high school, Ora illustrated her Senior yearbook. She was a telephone operator for the former Ohio Bell, a nurse’s aide in Loudonville, and a home health care aide in Springfield. She was a member of Riley Chapel Baptist Church, where she was an adult Sunday school teacher at one time. She was an Ohio State football fan, and enjoyed crocheting and garage sales.
She is survived by her children, Larry Reynolds of Columbus, Dora Baer of Springfield, George E. “Ed” Baer of Danville, and David C. (Tammy) Baer of Danville; nine grandchildren, Linda, Debbie, David, & April Reynolds, Amanda Cosper & Steven Baer, Jessica Hannan, Jennifer Samples, and Luke Baer; many great-grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Albert William Baer, Jr.; her twin-sister, Ola Jean Reynolds; and a brother, Robert Leonard “Bob” Reynolds.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville with Pastor Jay Horn officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later time in Concord Cemetery, Grove City. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
