TJ Thorpe Trucking 19, Advancement Academy 15

Josh Kline and Micaela Fidler had four hits apiece and TJ Trucking used a seven-run second inning to build a big lead before holding off the Advancement Academy Outlawz in a 19-15 slugfest.

TJ Thorpe finished first place in the Mount Vernon City Coed Softball Summer League standings.

Kline and Fidler both had doubles to highlight their big games and Seth Oyster and Mike Blanchard each homered for TJ Thorpe.

Bryce Geiger had five hits, including a home run and a pair of doubles to lead the Outlawz, who scored five in the sixth and four in the seventh before the comeback bid fell short.

Double “A” Outdoor Wear 15, Presley Construction 14 (6)

Double “A” Outdoor Wear scored a run in the top of the sixth inning that ended up being the game-winner in a 15-14 victory over Presley Construction.

Zack Verspour had five hits, including a double, to lead Double “A”. Jason Strickler had three hits, including a pair of triples to top Presley.

Riverside Recovery 20, Fosters Pharmacy 2 (5)

Riverside Recovery blew up for six runs in the first inning to roll to a lopsided win over Fosters Pharmacy.

Cayleb Cole and Colten Landis each homered on four hits apiece to lead Riverside. George Hess had three hits to lead Fosters.

Buckeye Crave 21, Double “A” Outdoor Wear 9 (5)

Owen Miller had three hits, including a homer, to lead Buckeye Crave, which scored 11 runs in the first inning to roll to a big win over Double “A” Outdoor Wear.

John Riggins and Kenny Darr each doubled as one of their three hits apiece.

Honey Buckets 20, Dr. Abigail Elliot 2 (5)

Honey Buckets opened and closed its big win over Dr. Abigail Elliot with eight runs in the first inning and eight runs in the fifth.

Katie Spearman had four hits to lead Honey Buckets and Doug Neighbarger had two to lead Dr. Elliot.

Honey Buckets 10, Dream Team 9

Honey Buckets scored twice in the top of the sixth inning and added a run— which turned out to be the game-winner— in the seventh to defeat Dream Team.

Nate Davis had a pair of doubles and a single, and Katie Spearman and Travis Born had three hits apiece as each doubled for Honey Buckets.

Zack Walls had four hits, including a pair of doubles, to lead Dream Team.

Fitmix 12, Long’s Drive Thru 11

Fitmix rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh to win in a walk-off over Long’s.

Jeffrey Holdbrook and Josh Hall each tripled, doubled and singled; and Trisha Swihart and Kyle Hagerman had three hits apiece to lead Fitmix.

Ashley Bower had three hits, including a double, and Cait Keller also had three hits to lead Long’s.

Fitmix 13, Presley Construction 3 (6)

Fitmix scored in every inning, including four runs in the first to take control and roll to a 13-3 win over Presley.

Josh Hall homered, and Kyle Hagerman and Travis Holbrook each doubled and had three hits to lead Fitmix.

Shawn Maxwell hit two home runs to lead Presley.

Presley Construction 6, Concepts in Community Living 5

Presley rallied for five runs in the bottom of the seventh to beat Concepts.

Anthony Whitt and Shawn Maxwell each homered, and five different players had two hits for Presley.

Dylan Colopy had three hits, including a double, to lead Concepts.

Liberty Lawn Care 14, Door 142+ 1 (5)

Nate Bolander had four hits, including a homer and a double, to lead Liberty to a lopsided win over Door 142+.

JJ Davis had two hits, including a double, to lead Door 142+.

Complete Comfort 20, Buckeye Crane 19 (6)

Complete Comfort scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning and held off Buckeye Crane’s comeback bid in the bottom half to escape with 20-19 victory in a slugfest.

After a relatively calm first two innings, the teams combined to score 37 runs over the final four innings.

Kohl Perkins had five hits, including a pair of doubles to lead Complete Comfort and Mac Lanigan and Gatlin Ridgway added four hits apiece.

Nelson Miller had three extra-base hits to tie Rachel Kennedy for the Buckeye Crane lead with four hits.

Bat Attitudes 12, Complete Comfort 0 (5)

Bat Attitudes scored six runs in the first inning and rolled to a lopsided victory over Complete Comfort.

Six different batters had two hits to lead Bat Attitudes, while Complete Comfort was held to six hits by six different players.

G&C Floor Covering 29, Kelly’s Pizza 16 (5)

G&C Floor Covering scored 14 runs in the fourth inning to take the lead and control on its way to a win over Kelly’s Pizza.

Cody Smith homered three times and had six hits overall to lead G&C and Cade Morningstar hit four home runs to lead Kelly’s.

Riverside Recovery 17, Ballz & Dollz 1 (5)

Riverside Recovery scored a run in every inning, including nine in the fourth to put an exclamation point on a big win over Ballz & Dollz.

Colten Landis hit two home runs among three hits to lead Riverside and Brett West had a pair of hits to lead Ballz & Dollz.

Complete Comfort 6, A+ Autobrokers 3 (4)

A three-run second inning proved to be the difference in Complete Comfort’s victory over A+ Autobrokers.

Gatlin Ridway and McKenzie Altizer had three hits apiece for Complete Comfort and Mike Harter had three hits, including a double to lead A+.

Advancement Academy 25, Long’s Drive Thru 16 (4)

Advancement Academy scored 14 runs in the fourth inning to take the lead and beat Long’s Drive Thru going away.

Seth Oyster had four hits on three doubles and a triple and Josh Cline had four hits – all on singles – to lead Advancement. Devin Allnut homered and tied Keith Brundenbury with three hits to lead Long’s.
