Sixth annual fall Overcoming Racism Class starts Aug. 23

Once again a local coalition of faith communities, institutions and leaders in Knox County have worked together to create a fall anti-racism class for the community, called “Overcoming Racism Classes.” This year’s discussions will center on a book by Heather McGee called The Sum of Us (Paragraphs Bookstore has copies with a generous discount for the class).

Under a new program by manufacturers in Knox County and the Knox County Workforce Development Alliance, students who complete six classes in a pilot certification program will be guaranteed a job interview with a local company.
COVID increases force KSAAT Education Series cancellation; Overdose Awareness Day still on
