The Dogwood Blossoms Chorus, Mount Vernon’s local chapter of Sweet Adelines International™ will perform “Love in the Magic Queendom: A Rollercoaster Romance” on Sunday, Oct. 13, onstage at The Woodward Opera House. Doors open at 2 p.m., and the curtain rises at 3 p.m.

Knox County 9-1-1 received 3,945 computer-aided dispatch calls and 1,620 calls to 911 during May, Operations Director Laura Webster informed Knox County Commissioners during their June 13 meeting.
