Every year, FFA members look forward to being involved in the Ohio FFA Leadership Night series. The Ohio FFA State Officer team puts together an hour long program to teach our FFA members about different aspects of leadership in the FFA.

The morning conference began innocently enough, with Steve and Doc arguing over which of the little packaged jellies went better on sourdough toast, and no one caring which one was right.

Amanda (Mandy) Miller Bontrager (89) of Zanesville passed unexpectedly into her Heavenly Father’s loving arms, on Thursday November 30, 2023, her late husband's birthday. Mandy lived her life pleasing the Lord.

The Jacqueline McCalla-Cordle Children’s Fund food pantry has been royally blessed this evening by Girl Scout Troop 7660 led by Amy Burke and Misty Baum. The Troop collected food and money to help the pantry with the Christmas food distribution on December 16th.

The 2023 National FFA Convention and Expo was held in Indianapolis Indiana November 1st-4th, 2023. Northridge FFA had a whopping 19 students attend the National Convention.

A few students from the Northridge FFA chapter took part in the Job Interview CDE where they were able to prepare for their future in the interview process and ultimately employment.

Northridge FFA had a great turnout this year at the sub districts and district soils judging. Students enrolled in the Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources class and the Plant and Animal Science class had the opportunity to learn about soils and soil judging during class to attend the subdistrict events.

Another year of a successful Farm Science Review. 33 students from our chapter had the opportunity to travel to the Farm Science Review in London, Ohio on September 20th, 2023.

Leroy “Ed” Edmund Hess, 75, lifetime resident of Danville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Country Club Nursing Home surrounded by family members. Ed was a proud Marine who served during the Vietnam Conflict.
