Ohio’s Hospice announced it will host its annual Celebrating Life’s Stories Butterfly Release on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Newark Maennerchor located at 195 Orchard St., Newark, Ohio. Check-in for the event begins at 11:30 am, and the ceremony starts at 11 am.
The event is designed as a way for participants to remember and honor special people who have touched their lives and continue to live on in their memories. Following a brief program that includes music, attendees will release butterflies in memory of loved ones.
Registration is required for participation, with a cost of $20 per butterfly. For those unable to attend in person, requested butterflies will be released on their behalf. Net proceeds from the event will benefit Ohio’s Hospice patient care and services.
Participants are asked to register by Friday, June 27 at www.OhiosHospice.org/ButterflyNWK26 to ensure butterflies are ordered and names are listed in the program. Additional information about the event or sponsorship opportunities can be obtained by contacting Adrianne Veatch at [email protected] or calling 740.788.1503.
