Country Colors Greenhouse will host its first-ever Bites & Blooms event, blending local food trucks with spring flowers for a free day of family fun.
The celebration is set for Sunday, June 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Country Colors Greenhouse, 18625 Butler Road, Fredericktown. Guests can enjoy food from Buddy’s Local Eats, Chrome Cones, Hello Lemon, and Athena Gyro Express while browsing the greenhouse’s wide selection of plants and flowers.
The goal of Bites & Blooms is to bring the community together through food, flowers, and fellowship. Visitors can shop for foliage, meet the greenhouse’s resident animals, including goats and pigs, and take part in the “Pots with Purpose” activity. By bringing a repurposed container such as a teacup, coffee pot, or even a shoe, participants receive 10% off plants to fill their unique planter at the potting station.
Country Colors Greenhouse offers a wide range of products to suit every gardener’s needs. Shoppers will find annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs, pottery and giftware, houseplants and succulents, and display beds. In addition, the greenhouse provides custom planting services. Customers can choose from a variety of planters available for purchase or bring their own. The experienced staff will design arrangements tailored to individual preferences, taking into account favorite colors, plant choices, and light requirements. After giving the planter time to root out, customers can take home a unique creation designed specifically for them.
