Dean’s Jewelry announced that it will host the "Every Shade of You" Gemstone Event this April, featuring internationally recognized gem hunter David Artinian. The event is scheduled for April 23 at the Coshocton location and April 24 at the Mount Vernon store.
The family-owned jeweler invites the communities of Coshocton and Mount Vernon to explore a curated selection of rare, globally sourced gemstones. Hundreds of hand-selected stones will be available, offering guests an opportunity to discover pieces with unique stories, origins, and meanings. Artinian will be present in-store to share his expertise and personal experiences sourcing gemstones from countries such as Sri Lanka, Tanzania, and Thailand. His approach emphasizes quality, rarity, ethical sourcing, and building relationships with local mining communities.

"Every gemstone has a story," Artinian said. "From where it was found to how it’s cut, each piece carries something unique. Events like this give people the chance to connect with that story and create something personal."

Co-owner Michelle Turner said Dean’s Jewelry views this event as more than just an opportunity for celebration. "We love helping people celebrate life’s moments, but this event is different," Turner said. "It’s about self-expression. It’s about finding a color, a stone, or a feeling that speaks to you and then bringing it to life."
Guests attending the event will be guided through an interactive experience designed to make gemstone shopping approachable and meaningful. The focus is on exploring gemstones based on emotion, symbolism, and personal style rather than price or tradition. With Mother’s Day approaching, attendees can design custom jewelry pieces such as pendants or rings as personalized gifts.

Dean’s Jewelry continues its legacy of craftsmanship and community connection by bringing new experiences to customers who have supported them for generations. Guests are encouraged to attend early due to limited quantities of one-of-a-kind gemstones. More information can be found at the organization's website.
