East Pleasant Street in Mount Vernon will undergo a temporary closure for sanitary repairs, as announced by the City of Mount Vernon Engineering Department. The closure will affect the section between North McKenzie Street and Rose/Curtis Alley.
The repair work is scheduled to start on December 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM and is expected to conclude by December 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM. During this period, only one lane will remain open for westbound traffic.
