The Knox County Symphony is set to host its Fabulous Fall Feast on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The event will begin with a pre-concert dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by a concert at 7:30 p.m. at Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
Attendees can enjoy a gourmet meal prepared by chef Stuart Washington at The Barn, a notable landmark on the university campus. The menu includes stuffed pork tenderloin and vegan options like stuffed bell peppers, along with sides such as roasted new potatoes and broccolini. Desserts include individual chocolate bundt cakes and gluten-free cheesecake. The cost is $30 per person, with part of the proceeds benefiting the Knox County Symphony.
Reservations can be made by contacting Sarah Goslee Reed at 740-507-3579, via email through an RSVP button, or online at knoxcountysymphony.org.
The concert program features pieces such as "Danse Macabre" by Camille Saint-Saëns and "Symphony No. 1 in G Major" by Vasily Kalinnikov. Directions to The Barn emphasize entering from Martinsburg Road due to other events blocking the back entrance.
