MVNU men's cross country wins OWU Invite; Will Baker takes individual title

Ryan Lehman Men's Cross Country | Mount Vernon Nazarene University

The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's cross country team delivered a strong performance at the OWU Invite, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on October 3 at Liberty Park. The team finished first among 12 teams, scoring a total of 62 points. Ohio Northern University and Denison University completed the top three positions.

Will Baker led the way for MVNU, winning the individual title with a time of 25:02.0. Other notable performances included Mason Hendrickson in ninth place with a time of 26:20.1, David Burkholder in twelfth at 26:31.8, Ryan Lehman in seventeenth at 26:45.1, and Evan Hodkinson in thirtieth with a time of 27:10.3.

Looking ahead, MVNU will participate in the JennaStrong Fall Classic on October 17 at Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio.
