WNZR 90.9 FM is set to mark its 39th anniversary with a special event on Wednesday, October 1st. The celebration will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the chapel parking lot of Mount Vernon Nazarene University, located at 800 Martinsburg Road in Mount Vernon.
The station plans to distribute 99 cups of ice cream, provided by Round Hill Dairy, as part of the festivities. Attendees can enjoy various ice cream flavors and have the opportunity to collect WNZR promotional items. Participants are also invited to pose for photos with Big Blue and the Big Blue Crew, sing a birthday song for a chance to win a WNZR Guitar Flyswatter, and listen to music highlighting the station's history.
