The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's soccer team faced a challenging match against the University of Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday. The game, held at Racer Stadium in Lima, Ohio, ended with a 1-0 victory for UNOH. The decisive goal came late in the first half at the 41:25 mark.
UNOH dominated the match with 19 shots compared to MVNU's two, and nine of those were on target. Despite the loss, MVNU's goalkeeper Hannah Miller delivered a commendable performance by making eight saves.
Looking ahead, the Lady Cougars will play their next game at CH4 Stadium against UC Clermont on Saturday, September 13, with kick-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
