The Knox County Task Force for Older Adults is organizing the Sam Ingraham Senior Resource Day on September 17, 2025. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, located at 807 Coshocton Avenue in Mount Vernon, Ohio. It is a free event open to all residents of Knox County.
The goal of the event is to reach seniors in Knox County with resources related to health and wellness, nursing facilities, assisted living, home health agencies, senior centers, hospice care, and mobility prevention and management awareness.
Booth space is available for both task force members and non-members at a cost of $50. Non-members' fees include membership dues for the remainder of 2025. Participants are encouraged to bring a maximum eight-foot table and chairs, as well as provide one door prize and giveaways. An additional fee of $15 applies for access to a private screening room.

Several organizations have already registered for booth space including TZMO USA Inc., Star Home Health Agency, Hospice of Western Reserve, Knox County Treasurer/Safe Com, Country Club Retirement Co., Centerburg Senior Services, Whispering Hills Rehabilitation, The Ohio Eastern Star Home, and K&B Mobility.
For seniors planning to attend the event, Knox County Transit offers free round-trip rides for those aged 60 and older. To schedule transportation, seniors should contact Knox County Transit at 740-392-7433.
