Praisestock has announced its 20th anniversary event, Praisestock 2025, featuring local praise bands at Ariel-Foundation Park in Mount Vernon on August 17, 2025.

According to Praisestock, the event will commemorate two decades of community worship and will be held at the Schnormeier Event Center in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Originally a small gathering at Owl Creek Baptist Church, Praisestock has grown with local support to include multiple churches and Christian ministries across Knox County. The day is set to begin at 10 a.m. with a Community Worship Service led by Captain Christine Moretz and music by Footprints of Jesus. The service will include communion and a love offering for Food for the Hungry’s 2025 food drive.

The schedule continues after a brief intermission at 11:30 a.m., with performances from various groups including Footprints of Jesus, Set Free Worship Team, Here By Faith from Faith Lutheran Church, Chestnut Ridge, Lakeholm Church of the Nazarene Worship Team, Covenant Christian Church Worship Team, and Trinity Worship Team. The event is expected to conclude at 6 p.m. with closing remarks and a unity song featuring benediction and gospel music.

Between musical acts, local Christian organizations will present their missions through interviews and exhibit booths. A Kids Corner will provide activities such as a bounce house and face painting for families. Volunteers are needed for various roles during the event.

Praisestock is organized by a volunteer board representing seven sponsoring churches: Covenant Church, Trinity Worship Center, Set Free Ministries, Owl Creek Baptist Church, Faith Lutheran Church, Salvation Army of Mount Vernon, among others. It operates as a nonprofit under Covenant Christian Church and accepts tax-deductible donations to further its mission.
