Mount Vernon Jackets Softball is set to host a two-day skills clinic for young athletes on August 4-5, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the high school fields.
According to the organizers, the clinic is open to girls in grades 3 through 8 and costs $50 to attend. Participants will receive instruction on hitting, defense, and base running from members of the Jackets coaching staff and current players.
