Pandora Dolores (Anton) Payne, 71, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025, with her three loving daughters at her side.
Born to Greek immigrant parents, Pandora lived a life rooted in devotion to family, faith, and kindness. She was reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband of 41 years, Alpha Thomas "AT" Payne III, as well as her parents, siblings, and in-laws.
A woman of quiet strength and grace, Pandora faced a brief but courageous battle with cancer, always putting her family first. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister whose love radiated through every meal shared, story told, and moment spent together.
Pandora is survived by her daughters, Ashley (Mark) VanDellen, Mollie (Troy) Blasius, and Hannah (Ben) Rosema; and by her cherished grandchildren: Graham Payne Blasius, Sutton Keaney Blasius, Emerie Anton Blasius, Alpha Jay Rosema, Benjamin Alan Rosema Jr., and Cole Thomas Rosema. She is also survived by her sister, Anna (Stuart) Bogden, and her sister-in-law, Miki (Roger) Hempleman.
A private family service will be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trillium Woods (Faith Hospice), whose care provided comfort and peace in her final days.
